Kendal at Oberlin has an opening for a Part-time Utility Aide. This position requires a mix of day and evening hours with rotating weekends and holidays. Essential job functions include operating the dish machine, scrubbing and washing pots and pans, and receiving, checking, weighing and storing stock items delivered to Dining Services. Other responsibilities include sweeping, mopping and special cleaning jobs to ensure the department’s sanitation.
Requirements: Must be able to read, write and understand English while displaying a helpful and courteous demeanor. Personal appearance must always be clean, neat, and orderly. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative and a high level of energy in their work.
Shift: Varies - as needed Hours: 12 – 16 hours per week
