Boil Alert for Tank Cancelled 4-28-16

The city of Oberlin has confirmed that the testing results from water samples were clear for bacteria and the boil alert has been lifted affecting all campus buildings and city residences Water is now safe for consumption including drinking, dental hygiene and cooking. Please remove all postings in affected buildings including signs present on water fountains kitchens, kitchenettes, restrooms, breakrooms and sinks.
The City indicates that there are no special requirements for flushing lines prior to using water. However, if water appears cloudy or discolored due to sediment, run water until clear.
