The Apollo Summer Media Workshop for Teens is a two week intensive filmmaking camp open to youth ages 12-17. In the Workshop, students will acquire critical, creative, and technical skills to produce their own short movies, which will be screened publicly at the Apollo Theater on Sunday, June 22nd, 2014

FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT USE:
The Workshop will be held mainly at Oberlin College Apollo Outreach Workshop, located at street level at the Apollo Theater, 19 E College St, Oberlin, OH 44074; occasional activities may be held in classrooms and studios on campus. The Workshop utilizes state-of-the-art media production equipment, which is available for the exclusive use of currently enrolled students. Students are expected to treat the facilities and equipment with the highest degree of care. If an instructor deems that a student has intentionally misused the facilities or equipment, the student will be asked to withdraw from the Workshop. Food and drinks are prohibited in production and screening areas.
