Update: Major Issues with new.oberlin.edu

We experienced major technical issues with our new.oberlin.edu website this week. Our vendor, dotCMS Inc., restored new.oberlin.edu from a backup copy originally captured on Sunday morning. We regret to inform you that any work you may have done to update the web content on new.oberlin.edu since Sunday, June 2, has been lost, and you will need to apply the same changes again via the website's content management system.
According to the dotCMS technical support, a server failure on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud on Monday morning caused the website's database to malfunction. Over the last three days, the dotCMS team attempted to resolve the malfunction without reverting to the backup, but they determined it necessary for restoring full service to the site.
