The benefits of practicing Yoga in chairs are the same as practicing on a floor mat: stretches and strengthens muscles, increases mobility, improves circulation, improves digestive/genitourinary systems, increases energy, reduces tension and stress, increases dopamine; reduces anxiety, reduces adrenaline and cortisol hormones.
Now that the semester has ended the Office of Wellness and Human Resources invite you to take a little break on Monday, May 20 at 12:15 pm in Wilder 112.
Wear comfortable clothing.
