Julie Taymor Makes Funding Available to Students Studying Arts and Culture Abroad during Winter Term
Oct. 10, 2012
Tony award-winning director and Oberlin alumna Julie Taymor has established the Julie Taymor ’74 Student Support Fund for Arts and Culture Abroad.
Current Oberlin students interested in pursuing a winter-term project (for winter-term credit) that features the study of fine or performing arts abroad as a central component of the project may apply for a grant to support costs of travel and activities directly associated with the winter-term project. Preference is given to students studying in a non-Western location. Funds are available to support group or individual winter-term projects.
Direct interested students to Amy Moniot, assistant director of programs for international study, who can be reached by phone at 775-8940 or by e-mail at email@example.com. Students can apply by submitting a Winter Term Grant application. Deadline: Friday, November 2.
