Oberlin Conservatory Choral Ensembles 2013-14: Auditions open to all

The choral ensembles at Oberlin have a rich tradition reaching back to the 1837 founding of the Oberlin Musical Union. Since then the Oberlin College Choir has been internationally recognized as one of the elite collegiate choruses in the world, and the Oberlin Treble Ensemble is quickly becoming one of the top women's choruses in the nation. Audition this fall to become a part of this legacy!
Fall 2013 audition schedule:
Friday, Aug. 30, 9am-12pm, 1-5pm; Saturday, Aug. 31, 9am-12pm, 1-5pm; Sunday, Sept. 1, 9am-12pm, 1-5pm; Tuesday, Sept. 3, 9am-12pm, 1-5pm, 6-9pm;
A sign-up sheet is currently posted on the door of Bibbins 219. Singers auditioning will be considered for placement into either the Oberlin College Choir (MWF, 4:30-6pm), or Treble Ensemble (TTH, 4:30-6pm).
Repertoire will include works by Beethoven, Britten, Bruckner, Gjeilo, Haydn, Verdi, Wagner, Whitacre, and Oberlin alum Moses Hogan; and performances with the Oberlin Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra.
