On Tuesday, May 3, there will be a primary election in Lorain County.

Current Expenses of the Oberlin Public Library
A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A replacement of a tax for the benefit of the Oberlin Public Library for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 3.25 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to  $0.325 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2011, first  due in calendar year 2012.

Polling Place and Voter Identification

Philips Gym is the polling for students living on campus. Remember to bring valid identification to verify your identity: your driver’s license, a paycheck, utility bill, bank statement, or government document that includes your name and street address. The postcard you receive from the Board of Elections is not acceptable.
